Watch: Yoo Seung Ho And Kim Dong Wook Honor Seo Jeong Yeon's Final Wish In Trailer For Upcoming Film
The upcoming short film “3 Days” (literal translation) has released an emotional teaser!
“3 Days” is a poignant family film that tells the story of a son holding a three-day funeral for his late mother. During this time, he experiences a meaningful period that feels like her final gift to him and discovers hope along the way. The film reimagines the funeral not merely as a farewell but as a transformative moment that signifies a new beginning for him.
Yoo Seung Ho stars as grieving son Tae Ha, while Kim Dong Wook plays funeral director Ha Jin, and Seo Jeong Yeon plays Tae Ha’s mother Joo Hee.
The teaser opens with Tae Ha’s solemn voice: “My mother has passed away.” Scenes of mourning follow, capturing the weight of his loss. In his search for closure, Tae Ha dials a number left behind in his mother’s will, leading him to Ha Jin. The funeral director recalls their conversation, saying, “I remember it. It was about a year ago. Your mother contacted me and said she wanted to prepare her own funeral.”
In a touching flashback, Joo Hee’s voice lingers: “Because that day is the most important day for me.” Her words hint at a deeper significance behind her decision, elevating the funeral beyond a mere ceremony.
As the teaser draws to a close, Ha Jin gently reassures Tae Ha, saying, “Let’s start the funeral your mother wanted.” The words carry a sense of warmth and purpose, setting the stage for an emotional farewell unlike any other.
