“Weak Hero Class 1” Confirmed For Netflix Release

Park Ji Hoon’s hit drama “Weak Hero Class 1” is officially coming to Netflix next month!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Weak Hero Class 1” is an action-packed school drama starring Park Ji Hoon as Yeon Si Eun, a model student who excels academically but is physically weak—making him an easy target for bullies jealous of his top grades. Though he appears frail, Yeon Si Eun uses his intelligence to fight back against the violence both inside and outside of school, alongside his friends Ahn Su Ho (Choi Hyun Wook) and Bum Seok (Hong Kyung). Upon its release in 2022, the series received critical acclaim and gained widespread popularity.

Following the success of the first season, the highly anticipated “Weak Hero Class 2” will premiere on Netflix in the second quarter of this year. The new season will continue Yeon Si Eun’s journey as he transfers to Eunjang High School, still haunted by the trauma of failing to protect his friend. Determined not to let history repeat itself, he will struggle to survive in his new environment, facing even greater violence while fighting to protect those he cares about.

The upcoming season will introduce several new cast members, including Ryeoun, Choi Min Yeong, and Lee Min Jae, who will play Yeon Si Eun’s new allies at Eunjang High. Yoo Su Bin is set to reprise his role as Choi Hyo Man, whose confrontation with Yeon Si Eun in the first season left a lasting impact. Additionally, the series will feature a formidable new antagonist group led by Bae Na Ra, and Lee Jun Young will make a special appearance.

Along with the announcement of “Weak Hero Class 1” coming to Netflix, the streaming platform also released new stills from the season, featuring Si Eun and his friends Ahn Su Ho and Bum Seok. Check out the photos below!
