Jo Woo Jin Confirmed To Make Special Appearance In "Signal 2"
Actor Jo Woo Jin will be making a special appearance in the highly anticipated second season of “Signal”!
On February 25, YTN reported that Jo Woo Jin has confirmed his special appearance in tvN’s “Signal 2” and is currently preparing for filming.
In response to the report, his agency Yooborn Company stated, “Jo Woo Jin will be making a special appearance in ‘Signal’ Season 2,” adding, “Please tune in to the broadcast to find out more details about his role.” The agency further noted, “At this moment, we can only confirm his special appearance and cannot disclose further details. We ask for your understanding.”
Jo Woo Jin has built an impressive career with his versatility across various projects, including “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” “Mr. Sunshine,” “Steel Rain,” “Harbin,” and more.
“Signal 2” was officially announced for production in early 2024, following the immense success of its first season in 2016. On February 10, 2025, During the CJ ENM Content Talk 2025 event, a representative confirmed that the sequel will premiere in 2026.
“Signal” tells the story of a group of detectives who use a mysterious radio that can broadcast from the past to solve cold cases. The original series received acclaim for its compelling storyline and strong performances from its cast, including Lee Je Hoon, Jo Jin Woong, and Kim Hye Soo.
