Success, Love, And Friendship: 3 Key Points To Watch In Second Half Of “KICKKICKKICKKICK”

KBS 2TV’s “KICKKICKKICKKICK” has revealed key points to anticipate as it enters its second half!

“KICKKICKKICKKICK” is a comedy that follows Ji Jin Hee (played by Ji Jin Hee), a washed-up actor, and Jo Young Sik (Lee Kyu Hyung), a once-successful variety show producer, as they establish a new content production company.

With the upcoming seventh episode marking the beginning of its second half, here are three key points to watch for in the latter half of the drama:

Spoilers

1. Will KICKKICKKICKKICK Company succeed in hitting the 3-million-subscriber milestone?

Previously, Ji Jin Hee and Jo Young Sik received an investment from a mysterious backer Don Man Hee (Kim Joo Hun) on the condition that they achieve 3 million subscribers.

To meet this goal, they have been working tirelessly, engaging audiences with guerrilla live broadcasts and launching original content such as KkokkoCam and yoga classes. Thanks to their relentless efforts, they are now just 1 million subscribers away from their target. With their growing camaraderie and support from their teammates, all eyes are on whether they can pull off this ambitious feat.

2. The blossoming romance at KICKKICKKICKKICK Company.

In the previous episode, Wang Jo Yeon (Jeon Hye Yeon) and Kang Tae Ho (Kim Eun Ho) shared a drunken kiss during a location scout, rapidly accelerating their budding romance.

Meanwhile, Lee Min Jae (played by Lee Min Jae) finds himself increasingly drawn to Ga Joo Ha (Jeon So Young), realizing that his feelings for her are more than just a fleeting moment.

Adding to the mix, Ga Joo Ha’s close friend Lee Mark (Baek Sun Ho) also harbors special feelings for her, hinting at an inevitable love triangle that is bound to stir up emotions.

3. Reconciliation between Ji Jin Hee and Jo Young Sik.

While they currently run KICKKICKKICKKICK Company together as co-CEOs, their shared history has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs.

Once inseparable, their friendship flourished as they rose to stardom—Ji Jin Hee as a beloved actor and Jo Young Sik as a star PD. However, their bond shattered over a woman, leaving them estranged for years.

Now, despite their constant bickering, the two have begun to show hints of camaraderie as they navigate their new venture together. Though lingering resentment remains, their undeniable reliance on each other raises the question: will their relationship finally take a turn for the better?

The next episode of “KICKKICKKICKKICK” airs on February 26 at 10:50 p.m. KST.
