EXO's Xiumin Travels From Joseon To Modern Times As A Food Columnist In New Drama “Heo’s Diner”

Upcoming drama “Heo’s Diner” has unveiled the first glimpse of EXO’s Xiumin’s in character!

“Heo’s Diner” is a fantasy rom-com about the events that unfold when Heo Gyun, a figure from the Joseon era, travels 400 years into present time and unintentionally starts a restaurant.

Xiumin plays Heo Gyun, a brilliant writer with a keen eye for aesthetics and a photographic memory. After suddenly time-slipping from the Joseon era to modern times, he must find a way to survive in an unfamiliar world. As Joseon’s first food columnist, he partners with Eun Sil (WJSN’s Exy), whom he meets by chance, to run a restaurant and navigate his new reality.

The newly released stills grab attention with Xiumin’s striking visuals, perfectly embodying Heo Gyun. He effortlessly wears traditional Korean attire, from a classic overcoat to an official’s robe, showcasing his elegant presence in hanbok. In another shot, he sports an apron and smiles casually in front of a restaurant, offering a glimpse into his character’s journey as he adapts to both the Joseon era and modern times.

Even after his time slip, Heo Gyun continues to wear hanbok, hinting at an unusual journey ahead.
