Nana Joins Son Ye Jin And Ji Chang Wook In Talks For New Historical Drama
Nana may be teaming up with Son Ye Jin and Ji Chang Wook in Netflix’s upcoming historical drama!
On February 27, industry insiders reported that Nana is set to star in Netflix’s new series “Scandal” (working title), a drama remake of the 2003 film “Untold Scandal.”
In response to the report, Nana’s agency Sublime Artist Agency shared, “She has received an offer [for the drama] and is positively reviewing it.”
Adapted from the French novel “Dangerous Liaisons,” the movie “Untold Scandal” reimagined the story in the Joseon era, centering on a seductive game of love between the infamous temptress Lady Cho, the notorious playboy Jo Won, and the virtuous widow Madam Suk, whom they attempt to corrupt.
For the upcoming remake, Son Ye Jin and Ji Chang Wook are in talks to play Lady Cho and Jo Won, respectively. Han Sun Hwa is also said to be joining the cast as a new character created specifically for the drama, though her agency has yet to comment on the report.
Nana has reportedly been offered the role of Madam Suk, a widow who has remained celibate for nine years—a character originally played by Jeon Do Yeon in the film.
Filming for “Scandal” is expected to begin between late March and early April. Stay tuned for more updates
