Park Hyung Sik Faces Cha Woo Min And Prepares For A Fierce Revenge In 'Buried Hearts'

Tension is rising in “Buried Hearts” as new stills hint at Park Hyung Sik’s long-awaited counterattack!

“Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.4 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won. Park Hyung Sik stars as Seo Dong Joo, the leader of the Daesan Group chairman’s Public Affairs team.

Spoilers

In the previous episode, Daesan Group chairman Cha Kang Cheon (Woo Hyun) discovered that his granddaughter Yeo Eun Nam (Hong Hwa Yeon) was in a relationship with Seo Dong Joo—even though she had already entered an arranged marriage with Yum Hee Chul (Kwon Soo Hyun), the nephew of Yum Jang Sun (Heo Joon Ho). While Seo Dong Joo initially decided to resign from Daesan Group, Cha Kang Cheon instead revealed his plans to one day place his illegitimate son Ji Sun Woo (Cha Woo Min) at the top of the company.

The newly released stills capture Seo Dong Joo’s tense meeting with Ji Sun Woo. With a sharp, determined gaze, Seo Dong Joo exudes intensity, while Ji Sun Woo’s innocent smile provides a stark contrast.

At the end of Episode 2, Seo Dong Joo suffered a brutal ambush at the hands of Yum Jang Sun’s men, leaving him teetering on the edge of death. As all signs point to a major turning point, viewers are left wondering how Ji Sun Woo ties into Seo Dong Joo’s looming counterattack.

The third episode of “Buried Hearts” will air on February 28 at 10 p.m. KST.
