Upcoming drama “Mother and Mom” has unveiled a new highlight teaser video ahead of its premiere!

“Mother and Mom” follows working mom Lee Jung Eun (Jeon Hye Jin), who asks her mother, Yoon Ji Ah (Jo Min Soo), to give her daughter Seo Yoon (Kim Sa Rang) rides to academies as the girl prepares for the “7-year-old exam” (an entrance test for top English-language academies). Set in the cutthroat education hub of Daechi District, the drama takes a humorous yet thought-provoking look at the intense world of early childhood education and the pressures of private tutoring.

The newly released video showcases Jung Eun as a dedicated office worker, once known for her competence and contributions to increasing her company’s sales. However, this side of her contrasts with her role as a mother—rushing to a bookstore for high-demand educational books for children and actively participating in online education communities.

Jung Eun also hires a driver to pick up and drop off Seo Yoon, but when the driver becomes unreachable, she has no choice but to turn to her mother Yoon Ji Ah for help. Ji Ah reluctantly agrees and becomes more involved in Seo Yoon’s education. There, she finds herself entangled with Young Wook (Jung Jin Young), a grandfather who also gives rides to his grandson, and with whom she develops a blossoming romance.

The teaser also highlights the silent, competitive tension among the mothers and Jung Eun’s deep desire to secure the best education for her daughter. It effectively portrays the education fever in a highly competitive neighborhood, raising anticipation for the realistic depiction of life in such a cutthroat environment.
