Oh Na Ra And Seo Hyun Chul Dish On Their Perfect Chemistry And Why "Villains Everywhere" Feels Like A Gift

Oh Na Ra and Seo Hyun Chul have shared more insights into their upcoming KBS sitcom “Villains Everywhere”!

“Villains Everywhere” is a comedy about the everyday lives of two spirited sisters, Oh Na Ra (Oh Na Ra) and Oh Yoo Jin (So Yoo Jin), and their eccentric families.

Oh Na Ra is a domineering housewife who has a bold past but chooses to keep her dating history a secret for the sake of her conservative, old-fashioned husband’s peace of mind.

Seo Hyun Chul plays Hyun Chul, Oh Na Ra’s husband, a corporate planning team manager who suddenly collapses in the middle of the street from overwhelming distress. After being diagnosed with panic disorder, he embarks on a mission to track down the “villain” responsible for his suffering.

Oh Na Ra shared her excitement about the drama, saying, “As someone who loves making people laugh, ‘Villains Everywhere’ feels like a gift to me. Seeing how classic sitcoms are still loved today gave me the courage to take on this project. The witty and entertaining script was also appealing to me.”

Seo Hyun Chul also explained his decision to join the drama, saying, “In a world where everything moves so fast, I thought it would be nice to have a show that allows people to take a breather and enjoy a lighthearted moment. When I came across ‘Villains Everywhere,’ I knew right away—this was it!”

Describing his character, Seo Hyun Chul remarked, “Hyun Chul feels like an uncle, an older brother, or even the friendly fruit store owner you see around the neighborhood. He’s a warm-hearted yet timid character, and I believe viewers will grow to love him.”

Oh Na Ra also reflected on her role, saying, “Oh Na Ra is someone who lives every moment passionately as if there’s no tomorrow. Playing such a character gives me a lot of confidence. Her boldness and decisiveness are similar to mine.”

Speaking about the fun atmosphere on set, Oh Na Ra revealed, “My chemistry with Seo Hyun Chul has been nothing short of perfect. We have so much fun improvising and bouncing ideas off each other. Sometimes, we end up laughing so hard that we can’t finish a take.”

Seo Hyun Chul added, “We previously worked together in ‘Woman of 9.9 Billion,’ and maybe it’s just me, but our chemistry feels so natural and effortless. I think familiarity helps.”

As for what viewers should anticipate, Oh Na Ra teased, “Each character has a hidden special skill, so if you pay attention from start to finish, you’ll enjoy the show even more.” She concluded with a heartfelt message, saying, “I hope our show becomes another legendary sitcom that brings joy to viewers of all ages.
