Upcoming film “Ghosts” (literal title) has unveiled new stills of its cast!
“Ghosts” explores a world set in the near future where human-like AIs coexist with real humans in South Korea. The film expands on the universe of director Hwang Seung Jae’s award-winning film “The Interviewees,” which won the Grand Prize (Daesang) in the Video Category at the 8th SF Awards in 2021. Through a hyper-realistic depiction of the future, the film also delves into pressing social issues in modern-day Korea.
The film’s star-studded cast includes Lee Yo Won, Chani, Lee Joo Shil, Jung Kyung Ho, Baek Soo Jang, and Oh Hee Joon, further adding to the film’s buzz.
The newly released stills heighten curiosity about key aspects of the film, including the relationship between SF9’s Chani and the late Lee Joo Shil. By crafting a future that feels all too feel, the film delves into urgent societal issues that will draw strong interest from moviegoers.
“Ghosts” is set to hit theaters across Korea on April 9.
