Studio Dragon Previews Upcoming 2025 K-Drama Lineup

CJ ENM’s premium storyteller group Studio Dragon has unveiled a sneak preview of their upcoming dramas!

On March 4, the Korean drama studio released a video with stills of several of their upcoming dramas.

The lineup featured includes the following:

“Gyeonwoo and the Fairy”

Korean Title: “견우와 선녀”

Cast: Cho Yi Hyun, Choo Young Woo

Broadcast Details: second half of 2025 on tvN

Based on a popular webtoon, “Gyeonwoo and the Fairy” (working title) is a fantasy romance that tells the story of high school student and shaman Park Sung Ah (Cho Yi Hyun) who sets out to save her first love Bae Gyeon Woo (Choo Young Woo).

“Second Shot at Love”

Korean Title: “금주를 부탁해”

Cast: Sooyoung, Gong Myung, Kim Sung Ryung, Kim Sang Ho, Jo Yoon Hee

Broadcast Details: first half of 2025 on tvN

“Second Shot at Love” is a rom-com about Han Geum Joo (Sooyoung) who reunites with her first love and health center doctor Seo Eui Jun (Gong Myung) and takes on the challenge of quitting alcohol.

“UNknown SEOUL”

Korean Title: “미지의 서울”

Cast: Park Bo Young, Jinyoung

Broadcast Details: first half of 2025 on tvN

“UNknown SEOUL” (working title) is a romantic drama about twin sisters Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Rae (both Park Bo Young) who lead completely different lives. After swapping identities through a web of lies, they embark on a journey to discover true love and the meaning of life.

“The Price of Confession”

Korean Title: “자백의 대가”

Cast: Jeon Do Yeon, Kim Go Eun, Park Hae Soo, Jin Sun Kyu

Broadcast Details: fourth quarter of 2025 on Netflix

“The Price of Confession” is a mystery thriller about An Yun Su (Jeon Do Yeon), a woman suspected of killing her husband, as she encounters a mysterious woman named Mo Eun (Kim Go Eun), who is called a witch among prison inmates.

“The Manipulated”

Korean Title: “조각도시”

Cast: Ji Chang Wook, Doh Kyung Soo, Lee Kwang Soo, Jo Yoon Soo

Broadcast Details: second half of 2025 on Disney+

“The Manipulated” is an action drama that follows Tae Joong (Ji Chang Wook), an ordinary man whose life is turned upside down when he is wrongfully imprisoned for a heinous crime. Upon discovering that everything was orchestrated by Yo Han (Doh Kyung Soo), he sets out on a journey of revenge.

“Dear X”

Korean Title: “친애하는 X”

Cast: Kim Yoo Jung, Kim Young Dae, Kim Do Hoon, Lee Yul Eum

Broadcast Details: 2025 on TVING

“Dear X” is a romantic thriller about renowned actress Baek Ah Jin (Kim Yoo Jung), who achieves success by using others, and Yoon Joon Seo (Kim Young Dae), a man who always stays by her side as her only sanctuary.

“Dear Hongrang”

Korean Title: “탄금”

Cast: Lee Jae Wook, Jo Bo Ah, Jung Ga Ram, Uhm Ji Won, Park Byung Eun, Kim Jae Wook

Broadcast Details: second quarter of 2025 on Netflix

A mystery romance set in the Joseon dynasty, “Dear Hongrang” follows the disappearance of Hong Rang (Lee Jae Wook), the son of a powerful merchant family. His step-sister Jae Yi (Jo Bo Ah), who has spent years searching for him, and Hong Rang, who returns with a hidden secret, begin to experience emotions that may either be sibling love or romantic attraction.

“The Tyrant’s Chef”

Korean Title: “폭군의 셰프”

Cast: YoonA, Lee Chae Min, Kang Han Na, Choi Gwi Hwa

Broadcast Details: second half of 2025 on tvN

“The Tyrant’s Chef” (working title) is a fantasy romance drama about chef Yeon Ji Young (YoonA) who travels back in time to the past and meets Lee Heon (Lee Chae Min), a king who is known as the worst of tyrants, and winds up serving him fusion palace cuisine.
