Hwang Bo Reum Byeol Confirmed To Join WEi’s Kim Yo Han In Upcoming Romance Drama

WEi’s Kim Yo Han and Hwang Bo Reum Byeol are set to star in the upcoming romance drama “The Fourth Love Revolution” (literal translation)!

On March 6, the drama’s production team confirmed that Hwang Bo Reum Byeol will be starring alongside Kim Yo Han, who was previously announced as the male lead.

“The Fourth Love Revolution” follows the story of Kang Min Hak, an influencer and model who is at the top of the dating scene, and Goo Yeon San, a top student who excels academically but struggles with romance. The two characters’ lives become intertwined when their college’s computer science and modeling departments are merged into one.

Kim Yo Han will portray Kang Min Hak, a modeling student who rises to celebrity status after appearing on a reality dating show. Although he has always lived with a simple, carefree mindset, his college life takes an unexpected turn when he becomes entangled with students from the engineering department—who are nothing like him.

Sharing his excitement for the role, Kim Yo Han commented, “When I first read the script, I was intrigued by the unique title and fun storyline. Kang Min Hak is such a charming character that I really wanted to play him.”

Hwang Bo Reum Byeol will take on the role of Goo Yeon San, the top student in the Computer Engineering department and a former child quiz champion. Though highly intelligent, she faces serious challenges when it comes to love. As she unexpectedly becomes involved with Kang Min Hak, she begins to experience emotions she never knew existed.

Hwang Bo Reum Byeol shared her excitement not only for the role but also for reuniting with her “School 2021” co-star Kim Yo Han, saying, “When I read the script, I found it intriguing because it is packed with the kind of comedic elements I love. I’m also happy to be working with Kim Yo Han again. He’s such a fun person, so I know the filming set will have a great atmosphere.”

“The Fourth Love Revolution” is set to premiere sometime this year.
