Ryu Jun Yeol, Shin Hyun Been, And Shin Min Jae Are Entangled In A Missing Person Case In Upcoming Film “Revelations”

Netflix’s upcoming film “Revelations” has released an intense teaser!

“Revelations” follows a pastor who believes he has a divine mission to punish the perpetrator of a missing person case and a detective haunted by visions of her deceased sister as she investigates the case. The film, which is adapted from writer Choi Gyu Seok’s webtoon, explores how their beliefs influence their actions.

The teaser opens with Sung Min Chan (Ryu Jun Yeol) urgently calling the police. After a young member of his church vanishes without a trace, Min Chan receives a revelation identifying Kwon Yang Rae (Shin Min Jae), an ex-convict who recently visited the church, as the culprit. Detective Lee Yeon Hui (Shin Hyun Been), who is tormented by hallucinations of her dead sibling due to guilt, discovers suspicious circumstances while investigating the missing person case and begins to dig deeper into the case.

Once a devoted pastor leading a small congregation as part of his missionary calling, Min Chan undergoes a dramatic transformation after receiving the revelation, heightening tension and sparking curiosity about the choices he will make. In one scene, Pastor Sung Min Chan is seen staring blankly into the distance in the pouring rain, fueling curiosity about the extent of his blind faith. The teaser concludes with Min Chan kneeling before a cross, praying as a storm rages, saying, “It all seems like coincidence, doesn’t it? But there is no such thing as coincidence.”
