Jun Ji Hyun, Koo Kyo Hwan, Ji Chang Wook, Shin Hyun Been, Kim Shin Rok, And Go Soo Confirmed For New Film

Train to Busan” and “Peninusla” director Yeon Sang Ho is gearing up for his new film “Colony” (literal translation)!

“Colony” is about the story that unfolds as a building is blockaded due to an unknown virus as those infected evolve into unpredictable forms, threatening the survivors.

On March 7, SHOWBOX confirmed that “Colony” has begun filming with a group photo featuring director Yeon Sang Ho as well as the star-studded cast including Jun Ji Hyun, Koo Kyo Hwan, Ji Chang Wook, Shin Hyun Been, Kim Shin Rok, and Go Soo.

“Colony” is the latest project of director Yeon Sang Ho behind hit films and series such as “Train to Busan,” “Peninusla,” “Hellbound,” and “Parasyte: The Grey.”

Notably, this will also mark Jun Ji Hyun’s first film in 10 years since “Assassination,” while Ji Chang Wook will be working for the first time with director Yeon Sang Ho. Go Soo will be making a special appearance in the film, elevating the cast lineup even further. Koo Kyo Hwan, Shin Hyun Been and Kim Shin Rok will once again show impressive chemistry with director Yeon Sang Ho following their previous projects.

Director Yeon Sang Ho shared, “I have started on a long journey with great actors and staff with the goal of showcasing high quality entertainment that viewers can enjoy in theaters. I’m very excited, and I’m standing at the starting line with great anticipation. Please show lots of interest and anticipation.”
