Heo Joon Ho Ambushes Park Hyung Sik At The Hospital In "Buried Hearts"

Get ready for a dramatic reunion between Park Hyung Sik and Heo Joon Ho on “Buried Hearts”!

SBS’s “Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.4 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won. Park Hyung Sik stars as Seo Dong Joo, the leader of the Daesan Group chairman’s Public Affairs team.

Previously on “Buried Hearts,” Yum Jang Sun (Heo Joon Ho) tried to ruin Seo Dong Joo’s life before having him killed. However, Seo Dong Joo wasn’t going down without a fight—and it was only after Yum Jang Sun ordered Seo Dong Joo to be killed that he realized the fallen man had hacked his 2 trillion won political slush fund.

Soon afterwards, it came to light that Seo Dong Joo had survived—but without his memories. As he struggled to regain the memories he’d lost, Yum Jang Sun learned of his survival and immediately set about preparing a torture chamber to extract the passwords he needed from Seo Dong Joo.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Seo Dong Joo is alone in the hospital when he is suddenly ambushed by Yum Jang Sun. Yum Jang Sun, who has come to visit Seo Dong Joo in his hospital room, wears a chilling expression as he looks down at Seo Dong Joo, who appears nervous and vulnerable in his patient’s gown.

In the middle of this tense encounter, someone walks in on Yum Jang Sun looming over a wary Seo Dong Joo—and Yum Jang Sun’s facial expression changes in the blink of an eye.

The “Buried Hearts” production team teased, “In Episode 5, which airs today, Yum Jang Sun’s suspicion of Seo Dong Joo, who has returned from the dead, will start to act up, and he will begin to pressure him. Through their incredible focus, actors Park Hyung Sik and Seo Joon Ho captured their two characters’ psyches in fine detail.
