Jo Min Soo Makes A Secret Promise With Kim Sa Rang In "Mother And Mom"

ENA’s “Mother and Mom” has shared an adorable glimpse of Jo Min Soo and Kim Sa Rang bonding!

Set in the cutthroat education hub that is Seoul’s Daechi neighborhood, “Mother and Mom” is a new drama that takes a humorous yet thought-provoking look at the intense world of early childhood education and the pressures of private tutoring. Jeon Hye Jin stars as Lee Jung Eun, a working mom who asks her mother Yoon Ji Ah (Jo Min Soo) to give her young daughter rides to academies as she prepares for the “7-year-old exam” (an entrance test for top English-language academies).

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming third episode, Ji Ah comforts her granddaughter Seo Yoon (Kim Sa Rang), who is preparing for her English speech contest. Seeing that Seo Yoon is stressed because she thinks her mom will only be happy if she wins first place, Ji Ah warmly suggests that they practice for her speech contest in a fun way. In the process, Ji Ah and Seo Yoon make a secret promise without telling Jung Eun.

As the two spend quality time together, Seo Yoon winds up reminding Ji Ah of her daughter Jung Eun, and Ji Ah gets sentimental as she remembers what Jung Eun was like as a child,

Praising actress Jo Min Soo, the “Mother and Mom” production team recalled, “Jo Min Soo affectionately took care of Kim Sa Rang and became an acting teacher who made it easy for the child actress to learn from her. Thanks to her, the two of them had a cute and lovable chemistry that was a joy just to watch.”

“The chemistry between Ji Ah and Seo Yoon, who transcend age and generations to become best friends, will be a healing element amidst the harsh reality of Daechi,” they continued.

The next episode of “Mother and Mom” will air on March 10 at 10 p.m. KST.
