“The Potato Lab” has unveiled new stills of the upcoming episode!
tvN’s “The Potato Lab” is a new romantic comedy that centers on a rural potato research institute. Lee Sun Bin stars as Kim Mi Kyung, a researcher whose life revolves entirely around potatoes, while Kang Tae Oh plays So Baek Ho, a cold pragmatist who joins the institute as its new director.

The previous episode depicted So Baek Ho’s confession to Kim Mi Kyung. Despite Kim Mi Kyung’s rejection, So Baek Ho resolved to make Kim Mi Kyung like him back. However, Kim Mi Kyung unexpectedly received a layoff notice from So Baek Ho, causing great shock.
The newly released stills depict Kim Mi Kyung’s efforts to change So Baek Ho’s mind about the layoff, trying to use her sincere feelings for potatoes along with a strategy to persuade So Baek Ho. However, the principled So Baek Ho remains unwavering, making viewers wonder if Kim Mi Kyung will be able to overturn So Baek Ho’s decision.
More stills also preview Kim Mi Kyung’s unexpected action during their meeting time. Kim Mi Kyung is unable to focus on the meeting, looking at her phone instead. Her shocked expression hints at an urgent situation. Kim Mi Kyung even tries to take So Baek Ho’s phone and use his face to unlock it, raising curiosity for the situation.
Not to mention, Boo Jae Joong (Yoo Seung Mok), Go Jung Hae (Kwak Ja Hyung), Lee Choong Hyun (Yoon Jung Seop), and Jang Seul Gi (Kim Ji Ah) all look flustered, adding to the intrigue.
The production team shared, “In today’s March 9 broadcast of episode 4, there will be an unexpected turning point in Kim Mi Kyung and So Baek Ho’s relationship. Please anticipate how Kim Mi Kyung, who received a layoff notice, will overcome this crisis.”
