Jeon Hye Jin And Jeon Suk Ho Climb A Mountain To Pray For Their Daughter’s School Admission In “Mother And Mom”
ENA’s “Mother and Mom” has shared a glimpse of Jeon Hye Jin and Jeon Suk Ho’s dedication to their daughter’s success!
Set in the cutthroat education hub that is Seoul’s Daechi neighborhood, “Mother and Mom” takes a humorous yet thought-provoking look at the intense world of early childhood education and the pressures of private tutoring. Jeon Hye Jin stars as Lee Jung Eun, a working mom who asks her mother Yoon Ji Ah (Jo Min Soo) to give her young daughter rides to academies as she prepares for the “7-year-old exam” (an entrance test for top English-language academies).

In episode 3, Jung Eun and Jae Man (Jeon Suk Ho) turn to superstitions as they prepare for the lottery that could secure their daughter Seo Yoon (Kim Sa Rang) a spot at a prestigious elementary school.
Newly released stills show Jung Eun and Jae Man hiking, sparking curiosity. In the previous episode, Jung Eun visited a well-known fortune teller in Daechi to predict Seo Yoon’s chances of getting into a prestigious elementary school. The fortune teller advised her to stick taffy on Toad Rock at Buramsan Mountain and pray sincerely. Determined to do whatever it takes for her daughter, Jung Eun follows the advice with unwavering dedication.
Hoping to make her prayers more effective, Jung Eun sets off on a hike with Jae Man. However, her frustration quickly grows as her unhelpful husband causes trouble. As Jae Man gets scolded for a mistake, their hike turns chaotic. Finally, Jung Eun places her hand on the rock and prays fervently, leaving viewers wondering if her prayer ritual for Seo Yoon’s acceptance will work.
The couple’s teamwork for Seo Yoon also stands out. Jae Man, embracing superstition, wears red underwear believed to bring good luck for passing exams. He playfully charms Jung Eun, making him hard to dislike, while his comical attempts to match her dedication to their daughter’s education add a lighthearted touch.
