JTBC’s upcoming drama “Heavenly Ever After” has unveiled a new teaser!

“Heavenly Ever After” depicts a transcendent romance about a protagonist who reunites with their loved one in heaven after death. The drama is directed by Kim Suk Yoon, known for hit series such as “Radiant” (also known as “The Light in Your Eyes”), “Law School,” and “My Liberation Notes.”

The newly released teaser depicts the journey of Lee Hae Sook (Kim Hye Ja) entering heaven. The director of the Heaven Support Center (Chun Ho Jin) explains, “This is a place where the wounds from the other world are healed,” and adds, “You reflect on your life here.”

Hae Sook encounters various connections from both the living world and the afterlife. She sheds tears in front of her younger mother, whom she thought she would never see again. She also reunites with Young Ae (Lee Jung Eun), someone she had felt guilty about leaving behind. Their affectionate gazes spark curiosity about their story.

Hae Sook also meets So Mi (Han Ji Min) and a pastor (Ryu Deok Hwan), individuals she comes to know after arriving in heaven, adding a unique narrative to the story.

Most notably, she has an extraordinary reunion with her husband Go Nak Joon (Son Suk Ku). Unlike his 80-year-old wife, Nak Joon chooses to appear in his 30s, reflecting his younger self. Despite their appearances, the couple’s feelings for each other remain the same as they were in life. Nak Joon says, “In heaven, everyone has a duty to be happy,” and confesses his true feelings to his wife. Holding Hae Sook’s hand, he tells her, “I want you to be happy,” and accompanies her on a journey to find happiness.
