Lisa Debuts At No. 1 On Billboard Top Album Sales Chart + No. 7 On Billboard 200 With "Alter Ego"
TWICE’s Lisa has made an impressive solo debut on multiple Billboard charts!
On March 11 local time, Billboard revealed that Lisa’s first full-length solo album “Alter Ego” had debuted at No. 1 on both its Top Album Sales chart and its Top Current Album Sales chart—meaning that it was the best-selling album of the week in the United States.
“Alter Ego” also entered the Billboard 200 (Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States) at No. 7, marking her debut on the chart as a solo artist.
According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), “Alter Ego” earned a total of 45,500 equivalent album units during the week ending on March 6. The album’s total score consisted of 28,000 traditional album sales and 16,500 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, which translates to 23.12 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week. The album also racked up 1,000 track equivalent album (TEA) units in its first week.
Additionally, Lisa reached a new peak on Billboard’s Artist 100, which she re-entered at No. 3 this week—marking her third overall week on the chart as a soloist.
Meanwhile, Lisa’s single “BORN AGAIN” featuring Doja Cat and Raye re-entered Billboard’s Hot 100 at No. 96, marking its second non-consecutive week on the chart.
Lisa’s new title track “FUTW” (“FXCK UP THE WORLD”) also debuted at No. 24 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart this week.
Finally, Lisa scored multiple entries on both of Billboard’s global charts this week. On the Global Excl. U.S. chart, “FUTW” debuted at No. 14, while “BORN AGAIN” rose to No. 25 and “Rapunzel” (featuring Megan Thee Stallion) debuted at No. 165. Meanwhile, “FUTW” entered the Global 200 at No. 25, with “BORN AGAIN” rising to No. 36 in its fourth week.
Congratulations to Lisa!
