ITZY's Yeji Talks About Her Solo Debut, Gratitude To Fans, What Keeps Her Going, And More

ITZY’s Yeji recently joined Harper’s Bazaar Korea for her first pictorial since being appointed a new brand ambassador for Roger Vivier!

In the accompanying interview, Yeji spoke about her first solo album, saying, “The main theme, ‘Air,’ represents my journey of finding and creating the perfect ‘air’ for myself. Through this new ‘air,’ I discover a different side of myself and experience emotions I’ve never felt before. Through this album, you’ll be able to feel my passion as I challenge myself to see and understand aspects of myself I hadn’t noticed before.”

She also expressed deep gratitude for her fans, saying, “No matter how well I do, I believe nothing can be truly perfect. When I thought about what has filled the gaps in me, I realized it was always MIDZY [ITZY’s fandom]. I’m so thankful for the way my fans cheer on my performances and recognize my efforts—it truly gives me strength. And if I had to name something within myself, it would be passion. Because I love what I do, I still have a strong desire to perform well and show my best to my fans. That passion keeps me from feeling exhausted and allows me to continue loving my job for a long time.”
