Song Ji Hyo And Kim Byung Chul Fight To Protect Their Family From A Curse In Upcoming Occult Film
On March 12, the production company behind the upcoming film “The Rescuer” (literal translation) announced that filming has officially wrapped.
Starring Kim Byung Chul and Song Ji Hyo, “The Rescuer” is an occult thriller that follows a family’s desperate struggle to break free from a horrific curse—the price they paid for a long-awaited miracle.
Kim Byung Chul stars as Young Beom, a man who fights relentlessly to protect his family from the devastating curse brought upon them by an extraordinary miracle. Reflecting on the filming experience, he shared, “My chemistry with my fellow actors was incredible, which made filming so enjoyable. I’m looking forward to seeing how our real-life chemistry on the set translates on-screen.”
Song Ji Hyo plays Young Beom’s wife Sun Hee, who finally experiences the miracle she longed for—only to face a terrible curse as its price.
Song Ji Hyo remarked, “I was constantly in awe of my fellow actors’ performances. Our teamwork felt truly perfect. More than anything, I’m excited for this film because it will showcase a new side of me as an actress.”
“The Rescuer” is set to be released later this year.
