SBS’s upcoming drama “The Haunted Palace” has unveiled its first poster!

“The Haunted Palace” is a fantasy historical romantic comedy that delves into the tale of the Eight Feet Tall spirit that bears a grudge against the king, a female shaman who opposes it, and an Imugi. In Korean folklore, an Imugi is an imaginary creature that spends a millennium in water and is able to transform into a dragon upon acquiring Yeouiju (magical jewel).

BTOB’s Yook Sungjae stars as Yoon Gap, Yeo Ri’s (WJSN’s Kim Ji Yeon) first love and a loyal subject favored by the king. His fate takes a drastic turn when he is possessed by the evil spirit Imugi, also known as Gang Cheol Yi.

Kim Ji Yeon plays Yeo Ri, a woman who rejects her destiny as a shaman and instead pursues a life as a skilled artisan specializing in eyeglasses. Her world is turned upside down when the Imugi—her sworn enemy—takes over the body of her first love, Yoon Gap, drawing them into an unexpected and unprecedented romance.
