tvN’s upcoming drama “The Divorce Insurance” has shared a sneak peek of Lee Dong Wook’s character!

“The Divorce Insurance” is a new romantic comedy starring Lee Dong Wook as Noh Ki Jun, an insurance actuary in the innovative product development team at Plus Insurance. After going through no less than three divorces himself, Noh Ki Jun comes up with the idea of “divorce insurance” plans.

Drained both financially and emotionally, Noh Ki Jun sees the rising divorce rate as an unexpected disaster—and sets out to create a divorce insurance policy.

In newly released stills, Noh Ki Jun shines as a passionate and skilled professional. With strong credentials and expertise, he’s known as a “genius actuary.” However, after multiple failed product launches, he takes a bold step—proposing divorce insurance as his breakthrough idea.

At a wedding expo—an unlikely place to promote divorce insurance—Noh Ki Jun stands out, wearing a promotional sash and looking completely out of place. His awkward presence hints at the challenges of launching the product. In another photo, his empty gaze reflects the toll of three divorces, sparking curiosity about the personal story behind his decision to create divorce insurance.

Lee Dong Wook shared what drew him to the drama, saying, “I was drawn to the unique concept of divorce insurance and the writer’s witty dialogue.”

Describing his character, the actor added, “He’s thoughtful, considerate, and loyal. I wanted him to come across as lovable,” building anticipation for his performance.

“The Divorce Insurance” will premiere on March 31 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
