“Hyper Knife” is a medical crime thriller drama that depicts the fierce rivalry and growth of two crazy geniuses as Doctor Jung Se Ok (Park Eun Bin), who once had a promising past, and her former mentor Choi Deok Hee (Sul Kyung Gu), who caused her to hit rock bottom, reunite.
The newly released character posters vividly capture the tangled emotions between the four main characters, heightening the tension.
In one poster, Jung Se Ok stares straight ahead, her eyes filled with deep resentment and hatred. The tagline, “Aren’t you scared? You have no idea how I’ll operate on you,” hints at her complicated emotions toward Choi Deok Hee, who suddenly reappears in her life after six years. Their long-awaited reunion is fraught with unresolved conflicts, foreshadowing a fierce clash.
Choi Deok Hee’s character poster exudes his commanding presence as a world-renowned neurosurgeon, emphasized by his unwavering gaze. The striking line, “A surgical mistake because of your pride? Be serious,” showcases his confidence and deep understanding of Jung Se Ok. It also raises intrigue about his true reason for seeking her out after six years.
Seo Young Joo (Yoon Chan Young) is captured in his character poster watching Jung Se Ok from behind, his eyes filled with fear and hesitation. The tagline, “Why are you doing this…? This time, you absolutely can’t,” reflects his desperate attempt to stop Se Ok, sparking curiosity about their connection.
Meanwhile, Han Hyun Ho (Park Byung Eun) is shown gazing sorrowfully at Jung Se Ok as she looks away. His line, “Maybe it’s because I think your talent is too valuable to waste,” reveals his conflicted emotions toward Se Ok, a brilliant surgeon now operating in the shadows of illegal surgery. His words hint at a relationship deeper than just surgical partners.
