BLACKPINK's Jennie Debuts At No. 3 On UK's Official Albums Chart + Lands 3 Songs On Official Singles Chart
BLACKPINK’s Jennie has made a historic debut on the United Kingdom’s Official Albums Chart!
On March 14 local time, the United Kingdom’s Official Charts (widely regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) announced that Jennie’s first full-length solo album “Ruby” had debuted at No. 3 on its Official Albums Chart.
Not only has Jennie become the first female Korean soloist ever to enter the top 3 of the Official Singles Chart, but she has also tied BTS’s Jungkook’s record for the highest ranking ever achieved by a Korean soloist on the chart.
Additionally, Jennie landed no less than three different songs on the Official Singles Chart this week. Her new title track “like JENNIE” debuted at No. 36, while her B-side “Handlebars” featuring Dua Lipa entered the chart at No. 41. Finally, her pre-release single “ExtraL” featuring Doechii rose to No. 66 in its third week on the chart.
Congratulations to Jennie!
