Spoilers
In the previous episode, So Baek Ho found himself feeling upset and jealous when Kim Mi Kyung shared that she discussed her worries about the relearch lab with Park Ki Sae (Lee Hak Joo) instead of him.
The upcoming episode will depict a turning point in Kim Mi Kyung and So Baek Ho’s relationship. The stills highlight the strange atmosphere at the potato lab. As So Baek Ho keeps watch, Kim Mi Kyung tastes two types of potato chips with a serious expression. Her surprise hints at an unexpected storm to come to the lab. With So Baek Ho declaring a change in the potato variety used to produce potato chips, Kim Mi Kyung places a bet with her pride on the line.
Furthermore, additional stills depict Kim Mi Kyung and So Baek Ho enjoying what appears to be a date at the potato fields in the middle of the night. Kim Mi Kyung heads out with So Baek Ho in order to show him the new potato variety that she has been researching. Wearing a lantern on his head, So Baek Ho crouches down, becoming absorbed at looking at the potato. The next still, however, shows Kim Mi Kyung playfully poking his cheek as he turns his face around.
As the two become closer, the potato lab members also appear to catch on to the shift in their relationship. Seung Hee (Woo Jeong Won) and Jang Seul Gi (Kim Ji Ah) appear to be full of suspicion, while Go Jung Hae (Kawk Ja Hyung) and Lee Choong Hyun (Yoon Jung Seop) look serious as if they have found evidence about Kim Mi Kyung and So Baek Ho’s relationship.
The next episode of “The Potato Lab” airs on March 16 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
