Han So Hee Talks About Her Upcoming Film With Jeon Jong Seo, Her Views On Beauty, And More

Han So Hee recently joined Harper’s Bazaar Korea for an elegant goddess-themed pictorial.

In the accompanying interview, Han So Hee was asked about her perspective on beauty. She replied, “It changes every year, doesn’t it? Lately, I’ve realized that it’s not just about appearances. Just like the saying ‘beauty comes from within,’ I think it’s also about mindset. These days, I focus more on my physical well-being. Instead of saying, ‘I’m so exhausted today, I can’t do anything,’ I tell myself, ‘I can’t do anything, so I’ll take some vitamins and rest.’ If you lack energy on set, it inevitably affects those around you. I try my best not to pass my exhaustion on to others, and I think that has become my new standard of beauty.”

Han So Hee also discussed her upcoming film “Project Y” (working title). She explained, “When I first chose this movie, I thought, ‘This is a film I can only make at this age, in this exact moment.’ If I were five years younger or older, it wouldn’t feel the same. It required a blend of youthful boldness and just the right amount of maturity. I even felt like it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

“Also, while I’ve become really close friends with my co-star Jeon Jong Seo, at the start of the project, I couldn’t help but wonder how we would showcase our on-screen chemistry. We were confident that we matched well and could create the best possible synergy between two actresses of a similar age. More than anything, I wanted to prove that through this project.”

Later, Han So Hee briefly reflected on her personality, saying, “I think I’m just a very honest person. No matter how much I think about it, that’s who I am. But with honesty comes responsibility for the problems that result from that honesty. There are fans, friends, and people listening to what I say, so I’m trying to learn how to be honest in a way that is also responsible.”
