Jimin Breaks BTS's Record For Longest-Charting K-Pop Song On Billboard Hot 100
BTS’s Jimin’s “Who” is officially the longest-charting K-pop song of all time on Billboard’s Hot 100!
On March 18 local time, Billboard revealed that Jimin’s solo song “Who” had climbed back up to No. 29 in its 33rd consecutive week on the Hot 100 (Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States).
“Who” has now overtaken BTS’s smash hit “Dynamite”—which spent 32 weeks on the chart when it was released back in 2020—to break the record for the longest-charting song by a K-pop artist in Hot 100 history.
Additionally, Jimin’s album “MUSE” extended its record as the longest-charting K-pop solo album to date on the Billboard 200, rising to No. 134 in its 34th consecutive week on the chart.
Jimin also re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 65 this week, making him the first K-pop soloist ever to spend 40 weeks on the chart.
Outside of the Hot 100, “Who” re-entered Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart at No. 14 this week, in addition to staying strong at No. 23 on the Streaming Songs chart, No. 25 on the Global 200, and No. 30 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.
Finally, “MUSE” spent its eighth non-consecutive week at No. 1 on Billboard’s World Albums chart.
Congratulations to Jimin on his impressive new records!
