TVING’s upcoming series “Way Back Love” has unveiled its heartwarming main poster and trailer!

Based on a novel, “Way Back Love” is a fantasy romance drama starring Kim Min Ha as Hee Wan, a 24-year-old woman who has isolated herself from society after losing the will to live. A week before her death, her childhood friend and first love Ram Woo (Gong Myung) appears before her as a grim reaper.

The main poster marks the beginning of the fate-like narrative between Ram Woo and Hee Wan. The phrase, “My first love came back to find me as a grim reaper,” piques curiosity. The image of Hee Wan’s first love Ram Woo, who appears as an adult, builds excitement, while Hee Wan’s facial expression, seemingly on the verge of tears as if overwhelmed with emotion, stirs intrigue.

The main trailer, released alongside the poster, captures the story of the two characters as it traverses between the past and the present. The narrative begins with Hee Wan’s countless “what ifs,” such as, “What if I hadn’t liked Kim Ram Woo?” and “What if I hadn’t done that silly name-changing game?”

Through Hee Wan’s playful antics during the name-changing game, the two end up calling each other by each other’s names, leading to a lively and chaotic school life that flusters the once-quiet Ram Woo.

However, the sudden appearance of a bouquet of chrysanthemums on a desk hints at an unforeseen event. Four years later, grim reaper Ram Woo reappears, now seeking out an adult Hee Wan. Ram Woo delivers the shocking news, saying, “You’re going to die in one week.” After Ram Woo leaves, Hee Wan, who has spent years resenting herself, is left to grapple with her emotions. Yet, Ram Woo’s heartfelt words, “How could I ever hate you? I came because I missed you,” convey a deep sense of longing.

As Hee Wan reunites with Ram Woo, her once-stagnant days become filled with sparkling moments. For the first time, Hee Wan finds herself wishing, “I hope this day never ends.” But the time they have left is only one week. The anticipation builds as viewers wonder what kind of marks Ram Woo and Hee Wan will leave on each other’s hearts.
