Gong Myoung And Kim Min Ha Rekindle First Love In New Drama "Way Back Love"
TVING’s upcoming series “Way Back Love” has teased the undeniable chemistry between Gong Myoung and Kim Min Ha!
Based on a novel, “Way Back Love” is a fantasy romance drama starring Kim Min Ha as Hee Wan, a 24-year-old woman who has isolated herself from society after losing the will to live. A week before her death, her childhood friend and first love Ram Woo (Gong Myoung) appears before her as a grim reaper.
The newly released stills capture heart-fluttering moments between Ram Woo and Hee Wan. Their eyes meet as if the emotions of first love are slowly blossoming, and the intimate proximity between them makes it seem like their racing hearts can be heard. Another image shows them sitting side by side, admiring a drawing they created together—the barely-there distance between them adds to the excitement.
In another still, time has passed, and they reunite under different circumstances. Hee Wan, unable to believe Ram Woo has returned as a grim reaper, gently places a hand on his cheek. With just a week unfolding before them, curiosity grows over what fate has in store for the pair.
Gong Myoung shared key points to watch in the drama, saying, “I hope viewers can immerse themselves in Ram Woo’s and Hee Wan’s perspectives and see how they change over time from past to present.”
Kim Min Ha added, “I focused on Hee Wan’s journey—what she realizes and how she feels from high school to her reunion with Ram Woo.” She continued, “I hope viewers enjoy the heart-fluttering first love story between Hee Wan, who is bold and outgoing, and Ram Woo, who is shy and introverted.”
