Hong Hwa Yeon Risks Her Life To Expose Heo Joon Ho’s Evil Deeds In “Buried Hearts”

SBS’s “Buried Hearts” has shared new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!

“Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.4 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won. Park Hyung Sik stars as Seo Dong Joo, the leader of the Daesan Group chairman’s Public Affairs team.

The second half of the drama is set to be even more intense. With Seo Dong Joo determined to seek revenge after regaining his memories, Yum Jang Sun (Heo Joon Ho) resolved to eliminate him, Heo Il Do (Lee Hae Young) hinting at even more reckless actions, and Yeo Eun Nam (Hong Hwa Yeon) uncovering her stepfather Heo Il Do’s crimes, the stakes have never been higher.

The preview for the upcoming episode, revealed at the end of Episode 8, also left viewers stunned. After discovering the dark secrets of Yum Jang Sun and Heo Il Do, Yeo Eun Nam finds herself in grave danger. In the teaser, a mysterious man ominously states, “Eun Nam will die today.” Will Yeo Eun Nam truly face a life-threatening situation? And how will this impact Seo Dong Joo’s burning desire for revenge?

In the newly released stills, Yum Jang Sun is seen standing alone in his private space late at night, wearing a chillingly sinister smile, as if he has accomplished something significant. His eerie expression raises fears about what evil deeds he might be planning. Will he really kill his niece-in-law Yeo Eun Nam just because she learned his secret?

Meanwhile, one photo shows Yeo Eun Nam anxiously waiting for someone, visibly tense. The immense fear she feels and the danger she senses are evident in her expression. In another image, she is seen showing her phone to a man, sparking speculation about what has happened to her. Will this bold move help her escape her impending fate?
