
Jeong Eun Ji Transforms Into A Gym Newbie Trying To Overcome A Breakup In New Rom-Com “Pump Up The Healthy Love”
KBS’s upcoming drama “Pump Up the Healthy Love” has unveiled new stills of Jeong Eun Ji’s character!
“Pump Up the Healthy Love” is a rom-com drama about Do Hyun Joong (Lee Jun Young), a passionate and determined gym owner, who radically transforms the lives of his overly anxious gym members.
In the drama, Jeong Eun Ji takes on the role of Lee Mi Ran, who joins the gym to get over a recent breakup. She decides to train with Do Hyun Joong, who promises to change her mind and body. However, she soon finds herself facing even bigger challenges than she expected. Through her character, Jeong Eun Ji is expected to showcase her undeniable charm and humor, blending her loveliness with comical moments.
The newly released stills show Jeong Eun Ji fully embodying her role as Lee Mi Ran. In one image, she is seen eagerly eyeing a bag of food, licking her lips as she uncovers the contents. In additional stills, she wears a loose t-shirt while holding up dumbbells and makes a grumpy face in front of a healthy meal.
The production team of the drama shared, “As a widely known fitness enthusiast, Jeong Eun Ji vividly portrays the joys, sorrows, and emotional ups and downs of Mi Ran’s journey as her life transforms through exercise. To authentically portray Mi Ran, who is genuinely passionate about food and love, Jeong Eun Ji went so far as to work on gaining weight and did not spare her passion.”
They continued, “We were deeply moved by Jeong Eun Ji’s commitment—not only did she immerse herself completely in the role emotionally, but she also didn’t hesitate to undergo physical changes. Viewers can definitely look forward to seeing Jeong Eun Ji’s unique take on Mi Ran.”
“Pump Up the Healthy Love” is set to premiere on April 30 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
