Lee Da Hee Is Lee Dong Wook's Brilliant And Confident Ex-Wife In "The Divorce Insurance"

tvN’s upcoming drama “The Divorce Insurance” has shared a new glimpse of Lee Da Hee in character!

“The Divorce Insurance” is a romantic comedy starring Lee Dong Wook as Noh Ki Jun, an insurance actuary in the innovative product development team at Plus Insurance. After going through no less than three divorces himself, Noh Ki Jun comes up with the idea of “divorce insurance” plans.

Lee Da Hee will star as Jeon Na Rae, who is both Noh Ki Jun’s colleague and his first ex-wife. A financial mathematician who sees the world purely through an investment lens, Na Rae is decisive and overflowing with confidence when it comes to her choices. However, after she joins Ki Jun’s divorce insurance task force as a special quant advisor, Na Rae gradually begins to experience changes in her life.

In the first of two newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Lee Da Hee exudes professionalism and poise as confident career woman Jeon Na Rae. Looking polished from head to toe, Na Rae sports a knowing smile and a sharp gaze that hints at her brilliance and unmatched ability to analyze data.

However, the second photo captures the seemingly unshakable Na Rae looking startled as she stares at someone. While Na Rae has always sped through life without a moment of hesitation, she undergoes an unexpected transformation after joining the divorce insurance team.

Recalling why she chose to star in the drama, Lee Da Hee shared, “The subject matter of ‘divorce insurance’ was unusual and refreshing. While I was reading the script, I thought that each of the episodes and characters’ stories in the drama would be relatable for many people.”

Lee Da Hee went on to note that “The Divorce Insurance” wasn’t merely limited to the topic of divorce, explaining, “I think it’d be good to keep an eye on the journey of finding ‘myself’ and forming new relationships along the way.”

Describing her character, the actress remarked, “I think Na Rae’s charm is her confidence. She’s someone who is confident in all the decisions and choices she makes.” She added, “While acting, I focused a lot on what would be most ‘Na Rae-esque.’”
