Park Bo Gum In Talks To Star In New Historical Action Film
Park Bo Gum is in discussions to star in acclaimed director Kim Han Min’s new movie!
On March 21, STARNEWS reported that Park Bo Gum had been cast as the lead in the upcoming film “The Sword: A Legend of The Red Wolf.”
In response to the report, THEBLACKLABEL stated, “Park Bo Gum has received an offer to star in director Kim Han Min’s film ‘The Sword: A Legend of The Red Wolf’ and is currently reviewing it.”
The film will mark director Kim Han Min’s latest blockbuster following his renowned historical action hits, including “War of the Arrows,” “The Admiral: Roaring Currents,” “Hansan: Rising Dragon,” and “Noryang: Deadly Sea.”
Notably, if Park Bo Gum accepts the role, he will reunite with director Kim Han Min a decade after appearing in “The Admiral: Roaring Currents” in 2014, where he appeared in a supporting role before rising to stardom.
Set two years after the fall of Goguryeo’s Pyongyang Castle, “The Sword: A Legend of The Red Wolf” follows a warrior who has lost his memory and becomes entangled in a ruthless battle among five factions to claim the Sword of Godumakhan, a sword that is legendary in Goguryeo. The film is expected to begin production as early as August.
Meanwhile, Park Bo Gum is currently captivating audiences worldwide in Netflix’s “When Life Gives You Tangerines.” He is also set to return to the small screen in May with JTBC’s upcoming weekend drama “Good Boy.”
