Kang Tae Oh Woos Lee Sun Bin With A Giant Teddy Bear In "The Potato Lab"

tvN’s “The Potato Lab” has shared a sneak peek of the blossoming romance between Kang Tae Oh and Lee Sun Bin!

“The Potato Lab” is a romantic comedy that centers on a rural potato research institute. Lee Sun Bin stars as Kim Mi Kyung, a researcher whose life revolves entirely around potatoes, while Kang Tae Oh plays So Baek Ho, a cold pragmatist who joins the institute as its new director.

Previously on “The Potato Lab,” So Baek Ho was startled by how his feelings for Kim Mi Kyung were changing him. After forgetting a deadline for an important project, Baek Ho realized just how much Mi Kyung was affecting him—and he began to keep his distance. Meanwhile, Mi Kyung became confused by Baek Ho suddenly pushing her away. When she sought him out for answers, Baek Ho boldly confessed to her, “[You’re] a line that I want to cross.”

Newly released stills from the drama’s next episode offer a glimpse of the sweet romance to come. When Baek Ho unexpectedly gifts Mi Kyung with a giant teddy bear, he cautiously scans her expression to gauge her reaction.

Later, Mi Kyung frostily attempts to shut the door while holding the bear in one arm, but Baek Ho holds the doorknob to stop her from closing it.

The drama’s production team teased, “In Episode 7, at the same time that Kim Mi Kyung and So Baek Ho realize their feelings for one another, a crisis will come their way. Please stay tuned to find out how Kim Mi Kyung and So Baek Ho’s ‘sweet and salty’ romance unfolds.”

The next episode of “The Potato Lab” will air on March 22 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
