Kang Tae Oh Loses His Cool After Embracing Lee Sun Bin In 'The Potato Lab'

The romance between Kang Tae Oh and Lee Sun Bin is heating up on “The Potato Lab”!

tvN’s “The Potato Lab” is a romantic comedy that centers on a rural potato research institute. Lee Sun Bin stars as Kim Mi Kyung, a researcher whose life revolves entirely around potatoes, while Kang Tae Oh plays So Baek Ho, a cold pragmatist who joins the institute as its new director.

Spoilers

Previously on “The Potato Lab,” So Baek Ho made viewers’ hearts flutter with his relentless pursuit of Kim Mi Kyung. At the end of the latest episode, Baek Ho melted the angry Mi Kyung by planting a sweet kiss on her forehead.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, the couple goes on a late-night date. As they head somewhere in the darkness, it’s clear that the two only have eyes for one another.

Other photos show Mi Kyung watching Baek Ho through a window—and the look in her eyes reveals just how deeply she’s fallen for him. However, when Baek Ho notices Mi Kyung watching him, he flusters her with an unexpectedly bold remark.

Later, Mi Kyung and Baek Ho wind up alone together in an unfamiliar room. Baek Ho warmly hugs Mi Kyung, whose arms are outstretched in an awkward pose. After the embrace, Mi Kyung clasps one hand over her mouth in shock, piquing curiosity as to what could have taken place.

Even more intriguingly, the typically composed and shameless Baek Ho seems to have lost his cool. Seemingly just as affected as Mi Kyung by whatever happened between them, a startled Baek Ho grabs his own chest with one hand as if his heart is pounding.

To find out what has Baek Ho and Mi Kyung so flustered, catch the next episode of “The Potato Lab” on March 23 at 9:20 p.m. KST!
