“The Art of Negotiation” has previewed a new plan in action!

JTBC’s “The Art of Negotiation” is a new drama starring Lee Je Hoon as Yoon Joo No, an M&A expert known as a legendary negotiator. Together with his team, he sets out to save the debt-ridden Sanin Group from going bankrupt.

With team leader Yoon Joo No at the head, the M&A team including Oh Soon Young (Kim Dae Myeung), Kwak Min Jung (Ahn Hyun Ho), and Choi Jin Soo (Cha Kang Yoon) are focused on recovering Sanin Group’s stock price, which is dropping below the support line. The group is planning to overcome the crisis by making the private company Wind go public, and the cooperation of the Japanese parts supplier Shimizu is crucial for the smooth production of the bicycles that will drive sales.

In the newly released stills, Yoon Joo No and his team head to Japan without delay. However, their mission to secure a large quantity of supplies at a lower price than a previous contract is not progressing smoothly. The negotiation hits a standstill due to cultural differences and language barriers between the two countries, and matters worsen when Choi Jin Soo accidentally reveals the deadline to a Japanese employee, putting the team in an even more disadvantageous position.

The newly released stills depict Choi Jin Soo getting close to Shimizu’s employee Hirose (Miyauchi Hitomi), with the two spending time alone. As the youngest members of their respective companies, the two relate on a level that transcends language barrier.

However, additional stills reveal Oh Soon Young and Kwang Min Jung, who are sitting at a nearby table, coaching Choi Jin Soo’s actions. The team appears to be carrying out a secret plan, raising intrigue for their next steps.
