Mun Ka Young And Choi Hyun Wook Face Unexpected Media Attention In “My Dearest Nemesis”

tvN’s “My Dearest Nemesis” has shared a sneak peek of Mun Ka Young and Choi Hyun Wook caught in a media frenzy!

Based on a popular webtoon, “My Dearest Nemesis” tells the love story of a man and woman who first meet via their online game characters during their school days, then meet again in real life as boss and employee 16 years later.

Mun Ka Young stars as Baek Su Jeong, a hard-working and talented team leader in the strategic planning division at Yongseong Department Store. Choi Hyun Wook plays Baek Su Jeong’s new boss Ban Ju Yeon, a chaebol heir who also happens to be her embarrassing first love from years ago.

Ahead of the finale, newly released stills show Baek Su Jeong surrounded by cameras, sparking curiosity about the situation. In the images, she looks visibly shaken as flashes go off from all directions. Usually composed and meticulous, Su Jeong now appears flustered, adding to the tension.

In the next still, Ban Ju Yeon stands protectively by her side, shielding her with his broad shoulders like a knight in shining armor. As the head of Yongseong Department Store and a third-generation chaebol, Ju Yeon is already in the public eye, making his relationship with Su Jeong, an ordinary office worker, a hot topic. With their private lives exposed and rumors swirling, all eyes are on how this sudden attention will affect the couple.

The production team teased, “In the final two episodes, the couple will face several real-life challenges, including opposition from Ju Yeon’s grandmother, the chairwoman of Yongseong Group, as well as sudden privacy leaks and career changes.”

They added, “Please stay tuned to see if they can overcome these obstacles and reach a happy ending,” building anticipation for the finale.

The final two episodes of “My Dearest Nemesis” will air back to back on March 24 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
