Park Seo Joon And Won Ji An's New Drama Confirms Supporting Cast Lineup

JTBC’s upcoming drama “Waiting for Gyeongdo” (literal title) has revealed its supporting cast lineup!

“Waiting for Gyeongdo” is a romantic comedy about former lovers Lee Gyeong Do and Seo Ji Woo, who first fell in love at 20 and rekindled their relationship at 28 before breaking up. Years later, they cross paths again—Gyeong Do as a journalist covering an affair scandal and Ji Woo as the wife of the man at the center of it. As their lives intertwine once more, romance and humor unfold in unexpected ways.

Park Seo Joon and Won Ji An were previously confirmed as the leads, portraying Lee Gyeong Do, a reporter for the entertainment section of the Dongwoon Daily, and Seo Ji Woo, the second daughter of Jarim Apparel, respectively.

Adding to the anticipation is the solid supporting cast lineup of Lee El, Lee Joo Young, Kang Ki Doong, and Jo Min Guk.

Lee El takes on the role of Seo Ji Woo’s older sister Seo Ji Yeon, who is deeply devoted to her younger sibling. Unlike her troublemaker celebrity sister Seo Ji Woo, Seo Ji Yeon is the calm and intellectual CEO of Jarim Apparel.

Lee Joo Young plays Park Se Young, a member of the theater club “Jirimeolryeol,” who spent her youth alongside Lee Gyeong Do and Seo Ji Woo. Park Se Young is the head of an art academy, supporting her husband Cha Woo Sik’s dreams in every way possible.

Kang Ki Doong transforms into Cha Woo Sik, a man who, despite having little, is filled with passion and romantic ideals as an aspiring actor. The story of Cha Woo Sik who harbors deep love for his wife Park Se Young piques curiosity.

Jo Min Guk plays Lee Jung Min, who runs a used car business and acts as the connecting link among the members of the Jirimeolryeol club. Despite traveling across the country for his business, he consistently arranges gatherings for his friends, continuing the unique friendship chronicles of Jirimeolryeol with a delightful dynamic.

Lee Gyeong Do, Seo Ji Woo, Park Se Young, Cha Woo Sik, and Lee Jung Min are friends who first formed a bond during their university days as members of the theater club Jirimeolryeol. Even though time has passed, they continue to maintain their strong friendship. Anticipation is high for the chemistry of the actors as they portray the deep connections of the Jirimeolryeol members, who, despite being well into their thirties, feel rejuvenated the moment they see each other.
