Lee Jun Young Leads A Chaotic Trio Of Gym Trainers With Lee Mi Do And Lee Seung Woo In "Pump Up The Healthy Love"
KBS’s upcoming drama “Pump Up the Healthy Love” has offered a sneak peek at the contrasting chemistry between its gym trainers—Lee Jun Young, Lee Mi Do, and Lee Seung Woo!
“Pump Up the Healthy Love” is a rom-com drama about Do Hyun Joong (Lee Jun Young), a passionate and determined gym owner, who radically transforms the lives of his overly anxious gym members.
Lee Jun Young takes on the role of Do Hyun Joong, a fitness-obsessed former world-class bodybuilder who unexpectedly finds himself running an old gym overnight.
Joining him are Lee Mi Do and Lee Seung Woo, who play gym employees Rosa and Alex. Though the gym is small, it’s anything but quiet with this fiery trio running the show.
The newly released stills introduced the three trainers at the heart of the gym. Rosa, the gym’s seasoned veteran, is a pro at handling difficult members. However, she isn’t exactly thrilled about Hyun Joong taking over as the new owner and sees him as an unwelcome intruder. In the stills, the two seem to be at constant odds, bickering whenever they cross paths—hinting at their chaotic and comical dynamic.
Meanwhile, Alex, the gym’s adorable mascot, brightens up the atmosphere with his cheerful smile. Despite his baby-faced appearance, Alex boasts a chiseled physique, earning him the nickname “Baby-Faced Muscle Man.” Devoted to Hyun Joong like a disciple to his master, Alex would even down a bottle of soda—his greatest enemy, a muscle-loss trigger—if Hyun Joong told him to. With such unwavering loyalty, viewers are left wondering what led Alex to place his absolute trust in Hyun Joong.
“Pump Up the Healthy Love” is set to premiere on April 30 at 9:50 p.m. KST. Stay tuned!
