WJSN’s Exy Keeps A Close Eye On EXO’s Xiumin As He Adapts To Modern Life In “Heo’s Diner”

“Heo’s Diner” has shared new stills from its second episode!

Based on the web novel of the same name, “Heo’s Diner” is a fantasy rom-com that follows Heo Gyun (EXO’s Xiumin), a figure from the Joseon era, who unexpectedly travels 400 years into the present time and unintentionally starts a restaurant.

Xiumin stars as Heo Gyun, a celebrated genius known for his remarkable writing skills and keen eye for aesthetics. WJSN’s Exy plays Bong Eun Sil, the daughter of a homestyle restaurant owner, who ends up partnering with Heo Gyun in running “Heo’s Diner.”

Previously, Heo Gyun was on the run from an assassin sent by Lee Yi Chum (Lee Sae On) when he suddenly time-slipped into present-day Seoul. Bewildered and out of place, he encountered a mother and daughter running a local diner and managed to get a meal from them—though Eun Sil remained highly suspicious of him.

Newly released stills from Episode 2 capture Heo Gyun in an unexpected role—working at Eun Sil’s mother’s restaurant. Having swapped his hanbok for a tracksuit and neatly tying on an apron, he looks the part of a restaurant employee, raising curiosity about how he ended up in this situation.

Heo Gyun’s wide-eyed wonder at modern objects continues to deliver comedic moments, as he marvels at his new outfit and eagerly adapts to his new surroundings.

However, Eun Sil doesn’t seem too pleased. In the stills, she watches Heo Gyun like a hawk as he attempts to serve customers—only to be forced to step in when he suddenly does something completely unexpected, shocking both her and the customers. Just what kind of mishap has Heo Gyun caused this time?
