“Mother And Mom” Nearly Doubles Its Ratings As It Reaches New Personal Best For Finale

“Mother And Mom” has ended on a high note!

According to Nielsen Korea, the March 25 finale broadcast of “Mother and Mom” garnered an average nationwide viewership rating of 3.3 percent, scoring its own personal best as well as seeing a boost of 1.5 percent and nearly doubling its previous episode’s ratings.

Set in the cutthroat education hub that is Seoul’s Daechi neighborhood, “Mother and Mom” is a drama that takes a humorous yet thought-provoking look at the intense world of early childhood education and the pressures of private tutoring. Jeon Hye Jin stars as Lee Jung Eun, a working mom who asks her mother Yoon Ji Ah (Jo Min Soo) to give her young daughter rides to academies as she prepares for the “7-year-old exam” (an entrance test for top English-language academies).
