Watch: Yook Sungjae, Kim Ji Yeon, Kim Ji Hun, And Shin Seul Ki Bring Endless Laughter To “The Haunted Palace” Set In Making-Of Video
SBS’s upcoming drama “The Haunted Palace” has released its first making-of video!
“The Haunted Palace” is a fantasy historical romantic comedy that delves into the tale of the Eight Feet Tall spirit that bears a grudge against the king, a female shaman who opposes it, and an Imugi. In Korean folklore, an Imugi is an imaginary creature that spends a millennium in water and is able to transform into a dragon upon acquiring a yeouiju (magical jewel).
The behind-the-scenes video captures the cast’s camaraderie, making it clear they are enjoying every moment both on and off camera. At different moments, WJSN’s Kim Ji Yeon (Bona) waves cheerfully to the camera, Kim Ji Hun greets with an enthusiastic “Good morning! Good morning!” and Shin Seul Ki offers a bright “Hello.” Throughout the set, laughter fills the air as the actors rehearse, wait between takes, and review their performances together.
The fun continues as the cast joins in on trending social media moments. Kim Ji Hun strikes a series of heart poses, while Kim Ji Yeon playfully recites the viral conversation trend: “You want to break up? Who are you?” Meanwhile, BTOB’s Yook Sungjae confidently predicts the series’ success, declaring, “‘The Haunted Palace,’ 20 percent!”
These lighthearted interactions only heighten anticipation for the series, showcasing the effortless chemistry between the cast members.
