Spoilers
Previously, a shocking clue surfaced about Seo Dong Joo’s (Park Hyung Sik) birth, hinting that he and Yeo Eun Nam (Hong Hwa Yeon)—who are in love—might actually be half-siblings.
Now, ahead of Episode 11, newly released stills tease the long-awaited revelation of what truly happened on the night Yeo Soon Ho (Joo Sang Wook), Eun Nam’s biological father, died.
Cha Deok Hee (Kim Jung Nan), the eldest daughter of Daesan Group, dated Yeo Soon Ho since their university days before marrying him and giving birth to Yeo Eun Nam. However, Soon Ho’s life was cut short in a hit-and-run accident, after which Deok Hee remarried her other friend, Heo Il Do (Lee Hae Young), with whom she had a son, Heo Tae Yoon (Yoon Sang Hyun). Now, Deok Hee and Il Do are determined to claim the Daesan Group chairman’s seat from Cha Kang Cheon (Woo Hyun) and pass it down to their son Tae Yoon.
However, Eun Nam has long suspected that Heo Il Do was behind her father’s death due to a shocking story she heard when she was a child. Despite Deok Hee’s repeated insistence that she misheard a conversation, Eun Nam remains convinced of Il Do’s guilt. Determined to take revenge, she accepted her grandfather Kang Cheon’s arranged marriage proposal—even while in love with Seo Dong Joo.
The fateful night of Yeo Soon Ho’s death changed everything for Deok Hee, Il Do, and Eun Nam. Now, the long-buried truth is set to come to light. But was Heo Il Do truly responsible for Soon Ho’s death, as Eun Nam has always believed?
The next episode of “Buried Hearts” will air on March 28 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
