Lee Mi Do And Lee Seung Woo Are Gym Trainers With Different Personalities In New Drama 'Pump Up The Healthy Love'

KBS’s upcoming drama “Pump Up the Healthy Love” has unveiled new stills of Lee Mi Do and Lee Seung Woo!

“Pump Up the Healthy Love” is a rom-com drama about Do Hyun Joong (Lee Jun Young), a passionate and determined gym owner, who radically transforms the lives of his overly anxious gym members.

In the drama, Lee Mi Do takes on the role of Rosa, an employee at the gym owned by Do Hyun Joong. Known for her sharp wit, she handles even the most difficult and picky customers with ease. Having worked at the gym for a long time, she isn’t exactly thrilled about Hyun Joong taking over as the new owner and sees him as an unwelcome intruder.

The new stills show Rosa exuding confidence with her fit and balanced physique. To perfectly embody the character, Lee Mi Do adopted a healthy diet and workout regimen after being cast and even switched hairstyles to a short cut.

Meanwhile, Lee Seung Woo plays Alex, a friendly gym trainer with a baby face and muscular build. Alex is someone who completely understands Hyun Joong’s actions and even admires him. He will also serve as a mediator between Hyun Joong and Rosa, who frequently clash with each other.

In the stills, Alex is seen comforting Rosa, who appears upset about something. In order to build his physique for the role, Lee Seung Woo is said to have committed to a daily exercise routine.

“Pump Up the Healthy Love” is set to premiere on April 30 at 9:50 p.m.
