Jeon Yeo Been Confirmed To Join Jung Jinyoung In New Drama + Supporting Cast Revealed

It’s official—Jeon Yeo Been and Jung Jinyoung will be starring in a new drama together!

“Nice Woman Boo Se Mi” (literal title) is a romance crime drama that follows a female bodyguard who enters a contract marriage with a terminally ill chaebol chairman in hopes of turning her life around. However, to evade those scheming for the chairman’s massive fortune, she is forced to live under a new identity for three months, leading to unexpected twists.

The drama will be helmed by “The Kidnapping Day” director Park Yoo Young and written by “The Night Owl” screenwriter Hyun Gyu Ri. The cast will star Jeon Yeo Been, Jung Jinyoung, Seo Hyun Woo, Jang Yoon Joo, and Joo Hyun Young.

Jeon Yeo been will take on the role of Kim Young Ran, the bodyguard of Gaseong Group’s owner. Although she lived a difficult life due to poverty, she is given the chance to transform into the fictional figure Boo Se Mi, who boasts a luxurious and prestigious background. As she lives life as the new “Nice Woman” Boo Se Mi, she experiences a 180-degree transformation, raising anticipation for Jeon Yeo Been’s portrayal.

Jung Jinyoung will play single dad Jeon Dong Min, who raises his son while growing strawberries in the countryside. He is the only one in the village to be wary of the perfect Boo Se Mi, who becomes his son’s new kindergarten teacher. Jung Jinyoung will bring life to his prickly yet warm character.

Seo Hyun Woo takes on the role of Lee Don, the personal lawyer of Chairman Ga. Lee Don is a character who will stop at nothing for money. With a brilliant mind, he rose from humble beginnings but has come to understand the harsh reality of nepotism and privilege. Viewers are already anticipating how Seo Hyun Woo will portray Lee Don, who dreams of turning his life around.

Jang Yoon Joo portrays the role of Ga Sun Young, the stepdaughter of Gaseong Group’s owner. Ga Sun Young will go to any lengths to get what she wants, raising anticipation for how Jang Yoon Joo will portray the dual nature of her character.

Joo Hyun Young will portray Baek Hye Ji, a helper working at Gaseong Group’s family mansion. She lives as a roommate with Kim Young Ran in the mansion’s annex. While Baek Hye Ji has a carefree and easygoing side, she carries an air of mystery, drawing excitement for Joo Hyun Young’s acting skills.

The production team shared, “We feel reassured to have such a talented and skilled cast join us,” asking viewers to anticipate the upcoming story.
