Ryu Seung Ryong Confirmed For New Office Drama

It’s official—Ryu Seung Ryong is set to star in a new drama “Manager Kim” (literal title)!

Based on a webtoon, “Manager Kim” follows a middle-aged man who loses everything he once valued. After a long journey, he finds his true self, no longer defined by his job as a manager at a major corporation.

Ryu Seung Ryong will portray Kim Nak Soo, a salesman with 25 years of experience. Known for his exceptional skills and sales success, Kim Nak Soo has never missed a promotion. He owns a prime apartment in Seoul, has a wife and son, and enjoys an enviable life. However, over time, he begins to lose his footing both at work and at home. His story promises a heartfelt journey of resilience and survival—one that evokes both tears and laughter in the pursuit of happiness.

The production team shared, “Ryu Seung Ryong is the perfect casting choice for the role of Kim Nak Soo, capturing the joys and sorrows of life.” They added, “We hope ‘Manager Kim,’ a story anyone can relate to or has experienced, will provide comfort to many people living in this era.”
