A story about love and life by “Fight My Way” and “When the Camellia Blooms” screenwriter Lim Sang Choon, “When Life Gives You Tangerines” follows the adventures of “the remarkable rebel” Ae Sun (IU) and “unyielding iron” Gwan Sik (Park Bo Gum) through four vibrant seasons on Jeju Island.

The released photos showcase the actors’ passionate performances and the lively atmosphere on set. They highlight IU’s impressive versatility, showing her in both the roles of Ae Sun and her daughter, Geum Myeong. One photo features IU as Geum Myeong n a wedding dress alongside child actors Lee Ah Ra, Ahn Tae Rin, and Shin Chae Rin, who portray Geum Myeong as a child.
The photos also spotlight Kim Seon Ho, who plays Geum Myeong’s husband Chung Seop, as well as Lee Jun Young, who portrays Geum Myeong’s ex-boyfriend Yeong Beom with whom she had a seven-year relationship before they broke up.
The photos also feature Moon So Ri and Park Hae Joon as Ae Sun and Gwan Sik in their seventies. One image shows Moon So Ri with Park Bo Gum, who plays the youthful Gwan Sik.
