Yoo Ah In's Film "Hi.5" To Premiere In June; Yoo Ah In To Sit Out Promotions
Four years after filming wrapped, Yoo Ah In’s movie “Hi.5” is finally gearing up to premiere in June.
On April 4, the film’s distributor NEW announced, “After much deliberation, we are aiming for a release this coming June.”
“However, due to external issues such as the president’s impeachment ruling, we cannot set an exact date,” they continued. “Additionally, actor Yoo Ah In will not be participating in promotional activities.”
“Hi.5” was originally scheduled to premiere in 2023, but the film’s release was put on hold for two years after Yoo Ah In tested positive for marijuana, cocaine, and ketamine during police investigations for the illegal use of propofol.
“Hi.5,” which also stars Lee Jae In, Ahn Jae Hong, Ra Mi Ran, and Kim Hee Won, will tell the story of five ordinary people who suddenly gain superpowers after receiving organ transplants. When another group of people seeks to steal their new superpowers, they must fight to defend themselves.
